Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LOKI was hanging around someone’s porch: an outdoor tomcat with a swagger, and bruises and battle scars to match. His people wanted to keep him but couldn’t afford the “fix”, so he was surrendered. He was cleaned up, neutered and had a little dental work. The vets found a wound on one front leg, so he got four months in our quarantine room (“wound of unknown origin”). He also has a funny-looking scarred-up ear, all bent over like the cartilage was damaged, which gives him a raffish look.
Loki had a little “attitude” at first and didn’t want to be handled, but has since calmed down and has become very sweet. Maybe he figures he had better be nice to these humans so he can get what he wants (foood). He can be picked up OK now, and he rubs on one’s legs for attention. Perhaps his new life as an indoor cat agrees with him. Or maybe it’s all that nice food. In spite of his scrappy background, he is non-confrontational, and retreats from bully cats.
Loki is a handsome gray tiger kitty about one and a half years old with an intelligent-looking face. That ear certainly makes him unique. Not sure if he likes that ear handled, but it will need to be cleaned occasionally. He will sometimes bolt his food, then throw it all back up, so maybe he needs smaller more frequent portions. He should probably go to an adult home. He might make a great “guy’s cat”.
