Meet lovable and loving 3-year-old Astro! Adorable and affectionate Astro was in the Dekalb County shelter for a year before finally landing a great foster home where he is now patiently waiting for his awesome forever family. Adorable Astro weighs between 42-50lbs and loves every person and dog he meets. In his foster home Astro has busy kids and 2 additional dogs and gets along great with them all. Astro is so handsome with super soft fur and the most beautiful eyes! He is very easy-going, medium energy and he enjoys his short walks and doggie playtime. Astro would love to accompany you to work or would be a great candidate for day care too. He loves fetch, his toys and his chew toys too. Astro is not destructive at all and great in the house. Although Astro is crate-trained, he hangs out all day with his 2 other foster siblings. Astro is completely house trained and he is working on perfecting his basic commands. He is submissive to his bossy-shepherd sister and is very easy to train. Astro is a super-snuggler and enjoys his sunshine naps as well as family adventures. Astro is truly just the best all-around family dog! He is not a real fan of kitties as he will chase when they run. He enjoys his big back yard at his foster’s home, but he is so mellow that we think he will do fine in an urban setting with regular walks each day. Older kids that he can play with would make Astro super happy and be best for him. His foster family lust loves him, but it is time for this awesome bully boy to have a family of his own.
