My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They call her Zara. She's an adult Heeler mix approximately 2 years old. She has received a distemper/parvo vaccine. She is mostly black with speckled black and white on her legs and face. She has the cattle dog "Bentley Mark" on her forehead and a short tail. Her coat is of medium length. She has sustained an injury to her left eye and her right eye is brown and blue. She is very friendly and submissive. She is unfamiliar with a leash but can be easily led and maneuvered. She has a tendency to "commando crawl". She is well mannered and does not jump up on you. She's a sweet girl. *****URGENT*****This shelter is NOT a no-kill facility. If you are interested, please act quickly. We must have commitment before close of business on the first Wednesday after the availability date. ******If you are interested in this Pet, please call Polk County Animal Control at 770-749-8908 or email jcrawford@polkga.org ****Adoption fee for dogs is only $40. This facility only accepts Checks, Money Orders or Credit/Debit Cards. They do NOT accept Cash. You will sign a contract stating you will get your new pet spayed/neutered and a rabies vaccine by a specified date. **** Upon adoption, adopters are required to fill out a rabies and sterilization contract.****
