My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marley is a stunning Tuxedo fella. He comes from a small shelter that cares deeply for their animals, however because he was very shy as a kitten, Marley was passed over time and again, until a year had went by and he was still living in a tiny cage. I brought him and a companion home and just allowed Marley to develop mentally over the next 6 months. Because he never had a chance to be a cat and experience sights and smells, exercise and enjoy freedom, Marley didn't know how to process the world. He didn't know how to be a cat. He was overwhelmed, but gradually his mind sorted things out and he learned how to just love his freedom and enjoy all the new world around. Now this young kitty is a delight. He is engaging, friendly, and loves to hang out indoors, has his spot on the couch and has become very confident and loving. He still needs an experience hand to help him accept the lose of one home, and accept a new one. But all he has ever needed was time and patience. His happy personality will always shine through.

C.A.T. Rescue is not a shelter, we are foster based. We showcase our adoptable pets at adoption events most weekends at many locations such as PetSmart Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels. Tractor Supply Bulverde, Earth Angels San Marcos, etc. Visit and like our Facebook page for event schedules or contact us at CatAlliesofTexas@gmail.com.

Cat Allies of Texas Rescues' mission is focused on cats of Comal county. Our vision is to keep cats out of shelters, place adoptable cats and kittens in a home, reduce stray and feral populations through TNR. Help colony caregivers manage and care for their cats. C.A.T. Rescue will offer, when possible, humane assistance to all animals in need.
