My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jamie is a gorgeous kitty, but she's very upset. She doesn't like being at the shelter, not one bit! While Jamie is not interested in petting or cuddling right now, she does get along well with the other cats in her community room. We don't have a lot of information about Jamie's history. We know that she was in her previous home for 9 years - ever since she was a kitten.

She would likely feel much happier in a nice quiet home where there aren't as many visitors! Here at the shelter, she's overwhelmed by all the people coming and going. If you have the time and patience to let a beautiful cat settle into your home on her own terms and on her own timeline, please consider Jamie. She would like to get out of the shelter so that she can start to relax again.
