My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuko looks to be a purebred Beauceron but since we can't prove that, we added the Doberman mix to him. We were told that his double dew claws is a sought after trait to prove the breed also. Zuko came from a kill shelter in CA as a stray. He was very sweet but also nervous around new people, specially men. He has been coming around nicely in his foster home. He is very loving but unsure of strangers so needs slow introductions. Not an aggressive unsure, just gets a bit shaky. Zuko loves other dogs and loves to get attention. Beauceron's are intelligent but remain 'puppy dumb' up to 3 yrs when their brains mature and are easier to train. He is 2 yrs old. His previous foster home said he showed no interest in their cat but we can't be certain how he would do if one were to run.
