Miss Moxee is ready to find her forever home! Most of you may remember that we pulled this sweet girl from a shelter back in September. She was in pretty rough shape (about 30lbs under weight, had really bad skin and coat, eye issues, and has a few wounds on her face and ears). Moxee had Entropion eye surgery to correct her eyelids which were turning inward and causing her lashes to scratch her eyes, she also had the large laceration on her left ear repaired and was spayed. Her skin is doing much better and her weight is up! She is a very outgoing girl who loves anyone and everyone she meets. Moxee knows a couple commands, she can be a little eager and is very strong so she needs someone that can handle her while on a leash. She has done well when meeting other large dogs with proper introductions. We will not be placing Moxee in a home with small dogs, cats or children under 12 (she does not realize her size and will knock the little ones over easily). Moxee is about 3 years old and now weighs about 120lbs. A home with large breed experience is preferred.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required. Yolo County adopters preferred, but will consider other locations. If you are more than 100 miles away from Yolo County please be aware that there may be a small additional expense associated with travel cost.

Please make sure when applying for a dog you are truly ready to start the adoption process i.e. not on vacation or getting ready to go on vacation. We are not able to "hold" dogs. Thank you for your understanding.
*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
