Meet Daisy. Daisy was a stray who crossed paths with a very wonderful lady who took her in from the cold and contacted us. Daisy is a very sweet mellow girl. She wants to near her humans and is very content just laying by your side. She is house trained and walks well on a leash. She knows basic commands such as sit and shake. We think that possibly she may have been a hunting dog at one time but she was very well taken care of. Perhaps her family moved away without her or perhaps her hunter just turned her out. We will never know but what we do know is she wants to be loved. She is heart worm negative and on preventatives as well as flea and tick meds. She is great with kids and doesnt jump up on you. She is not a barker so if you are looking for a guard dog, Daisy is not your girl. She doesnt know a stranger and loves everyone she meets. She is just a happy go lucky kind of girl. If you are looking for a mellow companion to spend these cold nights or warm summer days with then Daisy is the girl for you.
