Hi friend! My name is Chuck and I am a young dog that is often compared to Shrek. We both can appear scary at first, we both have a hard time trusting at first, and we both enjoy stinky things. The thing we have most in common is that we both have are like onions in that we have many layers and underneath all of our layers it reveals a sweet and gentle soul. I have been at HSSA for too long now and it's starting to make me feel a little less like myself and a little more like an ogre. I take some time to warm up, but when I do it's all fun and games! I enjoy walks, playing fetch (I even drop the ball at your feet) playing in water and getting my back rubbed. I like most dogs that I play with, but I can get a little rough, so I need to meet a potential canine friend before going home with one. I am not recommended to go home with cats, and I do not enjoy children because they scare me.
