Khloe was offered to ARF after she had her litter of babies. The owner wanted to keep her for a while at first, but when she found that she had to move sooner than she had originally planned, she asked that they come right away. Khloe is believed to be a border collie mix and the dad of the puppies is a very small beagle. There are three boy and three girl puppies. The little family came in on 10/25/19, and the space available for them was better at the shelter, so they became shelter dogs. The puppies were born October 4, 2019, and they are cute as they can be. Some of the puppies are spotted like Khloe, and others are black with a little bit of white, but all are adorable. Khloe is about 2 years old, estimated at 35 pounds, and is now very friendly, although when she first arrived she was a little scared and protective of her babies. She soon learned that she was among friends and relaxed and became very social. Be careful giving her a treat, though, for she will take your fingers off for that goodie! Khloe is being a good mom even if it is new to her. What a precious little family! UPDATE: Unfortunately, Khloe suddenly became very ill and died. She has internal bleeding from a gastritis. The puppies went to rescue without her.
