My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

4 yr  old Australian Shepherd/ Red Heeler mix looking for a hiking companion and a loving home. 

Rowdy loves to go for walks, hikes, play and get belly rubs. 

Inside, he likes to lay around, but is always ready to play and willing at a moments notice to do anything you want and go on any adventure with you.

He is a very loving boy who would do best in an active home where he can get love, attention and direction from his breed knowledgeable person.

Rowdy likes to go to the dog park to play with other dogs, but plays too rough at times, so needs someone willing to work with him on that or take him to training. Hes very vocal when he plays. He absolutely loves toys and needs to establish healthy play with his owner regarding his toys. 

He is not aggressive, just a 52 lb guy that needs to learn how to play more gentle with other dogs and good boundaries with his new owner. 


The ideal home for Rowdy would be with a person committed to training him, exercising him daily, with no young children, cats or other dogs at this time.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.
