Homie was found living on the parking lot of a Home Depot in Harper Woods. Why was she out there? She certainly was in grave danger of being run over. No one was doing anything about her plight.
Eventually the right customer came to shop, saw her, brought her to his home and asked Fortunate Feline to get her ready for a real home where she would be safe and loved.
Homie is a very sweet girl. She’s playful and very curious but is a bit shy in new situations.
She purrs the minute you touch her.
If you can give her the love and care she needs, call Kay: 313-891-2591.
HOMIE has a special needs buddy, MR. WEEBLES. They'd love to star together.
Mr.Weebles is a special needs kitty. He has balance difficulty. We believe it is from Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. It affects motor coordination.
Fortunately for him his foster mom gave him physical therapy starting when he was very young.
Consequently, he is able to get into a litter box. He also is able to eat and drink without any problems. (Many CH cats have problems with eating and drinking.)
It doesn't slow Mr Weebles down very much. He has an unusual gait and will lose his balance but always manages to keep going.
He will keep learning ways to cope with his balance issue.
Climbing is difficult but he still tries.
He is a lovebug and loves to cuddle.
He comes for attention when I call his name.
Mr.Weebles has one of the loudest purrs I've ever heard.
He will make someone a wonderful friend.
If you might be that person, call Kay: 313-891-2591
Mr. Weebles has a foster buddy, Homie. They run together, wrestle and have a great time.
Recently the foster mom was giving them the run of the first floor. At one point she no longer saw Mr. Weebles.
She told Homie to go find him. What did Homie do? He went, found Mr. Weebles and brought him to their foster mom.
If you could home both of the precious kittens, that would be more than fantastic! Call Kay: 313-891-2591
