Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have a kitty in DFW area that I need to rehome. I've had Zoey for almost 4 years. She is a tortie calico and very loving. She is a tiny girl yet, full grown. She is current on her shots and has been an inside cat since we got her at about 8 weeks old. She is very loving and does well with our dogs. I have battled the last two years with a skin condition that the doctors thought was acne, treated as dermatitis, and finally, I went to a dermatologist and they tested me. I am allergic to almost everything, dust, grass, and highly allergic to cats. I have tried everything, but now the doctor says she has to go. As long as I am subjecting my body to the cat, my body will react with inflammation as an auto immune disorder. My hands swell, fingers become sore, and I develope hive patches that go away after a couple weeks. Now, I am on a daily pill for asthma symptoms and she said the cat is not worth my health. She said put her outside. I won't do that. Zoey is declawed.
