Dear Forever Family,

Have you ever wanted a big handsome black dog to love? I sure hope so, because I fit that description to a T!

My name is Jax and I’m just about one year old. I’m fixing to graduate from the PAWS program where I’ve been learning how to be an even better Good Boy for the last 3 months.

Graduation is December 4th and I would be so happy to meet you right after that! It would be fab to be home and settled in before Santa comes, you know? I don’t want him to have any trouble finding me!

I love other pups, I’m leash/house/crate and basic obedience trained. Everyone who meets me says how chill I am for such a young dog, and they also say ‘What big feet he has!’ Soooo that means I may grow some more.

Viva! NM Rural Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue therefore we do not have a shelter facility. Meet & Greets can be arranged by appointment only or if the animal is at an adoption event. Our adoption process begins with an adoption application. Once the application is submitted and approved, Viva conducts a meet & greet, and then a home visit. Once the application, meet & greet & home visit are successfully completed we complete our adoptions with an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Each contract includes a 10 day trial adoption period. We do NOT do out of state adoptions.

The adoption fee includes current vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, Spay/Neuter, heartworm test and Microchip.
