Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Biscuit was rescued from Wayne County Animal Shelter in Goldsboro, NC. He was an owner turn-in but we cannot figure out why anyone would want to give this little guy up. He is about 2 years old and weighs 32 pounds. He may be the first-ever long-haired Basset Hound. We were told he was a Bassett/ Aussie mix but we are just not sure.
He is great with other dogs. He is affectionate and loves to be groomed. He thinks belly rubs are better than food. Despite his small stature, he loves to play fetch and has a lot of energy. He is a small dog with a big personality.
His trainer says Biscuit is a great dog. He is easy to train and is just fun to be around. He is protective in a good way because he is extremely alert.
Biscuit entered the NLOL program on November 13, 2019, and will be graduating sometime in early January 2020. All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
If you think Biscuit is the perfect pet for you please visit his page at www.pamlicopaws.net.and complete an application. But hurry, this little guy won't last. If you would like any additional information about Biscuit please call Jackie Schmidt 252-649-5504 or Kathy Kieffer 703-819-8835.
