My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mia. This beautiful girl is about 10 months old and currently weighs 42lbs. She is thought to be a boxer/hound mix but she is really a mystery. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. One ear sits up and the other down. She is just a cute as she can be. Her personality matches her appearance, as she is one happy-go-lucky girl. She is affectionate and willing to please. She loves other dogs and people.

Mia graduated from the NLOL program in February but was returned to Pamlico Animal Welfare Society due to no fault of her own. Mia gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. She also loves little children. Mia does best in a family that can provide her with another dog to play with. She also needs a fenced yard.

All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
