My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Thor is a gentle quiet boy who was found as a very hungry stray. He has FIV which means his immune system runs a little slow. He is a sweet boy who does not know that he is shut out of many adoption homes because people are afraid of the initials FIV

Feline Immunodeficiency Virus Infection (FIV) in Cats. The feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) infection is a complex retrovirus that causes immunodeficiency disease in domestic cats. Immunodeficiency is the medical term used to describe the body's inability to develop a normal immune response.

Thank you for your interest in a Catsnap cat or kitten! If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org. We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.
  • Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus [cats] or DHLPP [dogs]

  • Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
  • Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
  • Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
  • One free veterinary exam within 10 days of adoption at participating clinics or coupon from a local Banfield.
