PENDING ADOPTION
This. Is. LUNA!!!! Luna is an 8-12 month old Shepherd mix that will steal your heart with a single glance. If you’re looking for a larger dog that can do all the best large dog jobs, this is her! Kids? She loves them – and has been so gentle with the ones she’s met! Cats? She wants to play with them, but won’t hurt them. Other dogs? YES PLEASE! Ducks? Horses? No problem at all. She is currently living on a small property with all these animals and has not been aggressive to any of them (she has chased the ducks, but has never harmed one), but when the coyotes start howling at night she’s out running the fence line with my dogs to keep them away. She just has a sense of which critters/people are okay to be there and which ones should not be – so good that I’m really struggling to not just keep her myself, but I already have 2 large dogs and someone out there needs this girl. Luna is crate trained if she needs to stay inside, but she does need a lot of exercise if you have to crate her during the day. She needs a secure fence, and she would be better with other animals to keep her company when her person is not there. Having said that, she rides in a car like a dream. She just sits in the seat and watches out the window. If you want a dog you can take with you wherever you go she’s perfect for that too! Of course, if you like to cuddle, she can easily be convinced that she’s a lap dog! As for things to watch out for with Miss Luna, she’s still a puppy and she’s a chewer. Give her plenty of chew toys, sticks to play with outside, etc., and you won’t have a problem. If she doesn’t have something to chew on, she will find something. Having a playmate helps with this – when my other dogs are tired of playing, she gets bored. When she’s bored she chews. She also needs a secure fence, as she’s very social and likes to meet the people and animals who walk down our street. Essentially, she’s a perfect dog who does dog things. This is the PERFECT dog for someone who wants a large dog – she will not be available for long, but whoever gets Loony Luna will have won the lottery! Luna is spayed, vaccinated, Micro chipped and potty trained. Her adoption fee is $95.00,
