My story

Mya is 5 1/2 years old and was rescued (from what I've heard) from a kill shelter when she was 6 months old. Due to change in financial situation and change in living situation, we are having to rehome her. I think she would do best with a family or person who loves to pet her and snuggle. Mya wants to sleep with humans and loves to be around people. She does fine with other cats and dogs, but she prefers to be the only "princess." She will run up to you if you are even just a guest in the home. She never hides or runs away and always wants to be where the action is. She doesn't like to play with other cats and will verbally let them know, but she has never fought with or scratched the other cats. She will just walk slowly by and quietly "talk." She is very gentle with children and old people alike. I think she would be a great therapy cat. Her coat is long and soft and she even likes to be brushed!
