My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm George and I have stunning hair do that goes on for days. I am super curious and Love playing games (like finding the treat in the plastic rolling cat toy). Floor time is my favorite, where I get to run, frolic and explore to find hidden treats! I don't care for being picked up initially, but once I am up snuggled in your arms and feel safe, I am content to be pet and eat out of your hands. Veggie/fruit time is super exciting for me, and cilantro and bell peppers are my favorite along with the occasional bit of carrot and apple. Im a tad of a shy guy at first but once I warm up to you we will be best buddies!

RCHS guinea pigs live in loving foster homes where they are socialized, given sufficient exercise outside of their cage, and fed a diet of grass hay, Timothy pellets, and fresh vegetables daily to maintain a healthy weight. Guinea pigs do require a vet trained in exotic animal medicine and have special housing and dietary needs. We encourage you to please research guinea pigs thoroughly before adopting.
