My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lakota is a 2-year-old boy born July 2017 who came to us from a shelter where his previous owners dumped him. He was purchased as a puppy and lived most of his life outside. He is still learning all the fun things life has to offer and good manners. He enjoys playing ball and running around. He is a little unsure about things and how to behave. He is learning to trust humans again and we are providing consistency and patience so he can blossom. Lakota would do best in a home with no young children. He did well when seeing other dogs on walks and we will continue to work with him and see how he does with a female companion. He is super smart and knows how to sit. He had us fooled in the beginning but he will sit now nicely when asked (a treat helps) and he will need continued positive training to be the best pup he can be.
