Maverick is a little chubby red heeler and pom mix fella who is three years old. He has been neutered after coming to the shelter. He was an owner surrender. He loves to have his belly rubbed and he enjoys going outside at the shelter. He doesn't like being confined to a kennel, and he got very scared when he went to the vet. He hasn't had a lot of experiences outside of his home, so he could benefit from new experiences that teach him not to be afraid. He doesn't like other dogs in his face, and he he wants to rush in and inspect other dogs right away. He doesn't realize that he is small and likes to be the "big man on campus." He needs a loving home. Please help Maverick.
