Here's what the humans have to say about me:
KONA came to us from a very small rural shelter where the dogs get little exposure and few adoptions occur. The volunteers work beyond hard to search for rescues to take them. Kona was a special case because he had been chained outside his entire life with little socialization. Of course, this creates shyness and fearfulness. Kona is nervous around new people and does not willingly approach people. He is good with older dog experienced children who are gentle, calm and respectful. Kona will need a patient and understanding person willing to put the time and effort in to earn his trust and love. He will never be super social and would do best in a quiet home. Kona is @50lbs.
If you are interested in adopting him please send us an email requesting an application. Home visit and adoption donation required.
