Here's what the humans have to say about me:
River is a 5-year-old neutered male black lab. He weighs 82 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
RIVER #4 is a handsome boy with adorable ears that express how he feels, beautiful brown eyes, and a huge smile that rolls out his red ribbon tongue. Sometimes he’s shy when meeting new people but once he warms up, he’s a bundle of fun. His ideal day would include running in the yard and a few games of fetch followed by a cozy lap, and a nice long nap. This fun loving, affectionate boy will make a great addition to any family.
UPDATE: River #4 is settling in with his foster family. He loves to play with the rag bone and tennis ball. He walks really well with a harness, and could care less when he came across a couple of squirrels. River got along with other dogs at the dog park, but prefers to play by himself. After a long, exhausting day, he slept all night in his bed. He is a very good boy who just wants some attention. More to come as we learn more about this sweet boy
