Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barbara is a beautiful, 2 year old brindle pit bull mix that was saved with her sister Judy from the streets of Mexico. Barbara came to us in dire condition and were not sure if she's ever had a person to call her own ever before. She's wonderful with other dogs, great with kids, has a loving and kind personality- and she is loyal to those she loves most. We can't say enough wonderful things about her... she deserves all the love in the world! She would make a wonderful companion to someone looking for a sweet mellow bully breed angel pup!
Mutt Scouts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to helping homeless, abused, and abandoned dogs. We are committed to providing proper socialization, training, and medical care for each animal we save, no matter the cost.

All of our dogs are housed in private foster homes. An application is the first step and is required to schedule a meeting. Please complete application below, and include any questions in the final section. Inquiries without applications submitted will be answered as we can. Please note that we do not do out of state adoptions, and a home check and adoption fee are required.
