My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is an 4 year old 55 pound Australian shepherd mix female. She is crate and house trained and currently uses a doggie door.
Ruby does not bark at all, loves toys and is trustworthy in the home unattended.
She loves to sleep in bed with her people but can also sleep in her crate on a doggie bed if that is preferred.
She gets excited to meet dogs when she is on walks and does fine when meetimg them or will ignore them if instructed to do so. Inside her home she wants all the attention for herself and does not tolerate another dog in the home. But she currently lives with 2 cats and is fine with them.
Shes a very easy going gal who enjoys walks.
Walks excellently on leash and has been trained with a gentle leader. She knows the commands sit, crate, and heel.
The best type of home for Ruby is one with no other dogs in the house; an easy going family that enjoys walks and giving their dog alot of affection. Ruby greets everyone with affection sweetness and happiness. Her beautiful full coat doesnt even shed! And is a rich ruby red color. Shes very smart and wants to please. She drinks up love affection and attention. If you are hanging around your home shes happy to be with you. If you are ready to take her on a walk she happy and excited to go. She sat outside Halloween night with her foster and greeted all the kids who came by for Halloween candy.  Ruby is a wonderful companion who is easy to live with and is eager to please her person in exchange for their love.
