My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baskin Robbins is the sweetest boy, a very gentle soul. He is quiet and well behaved. He is approx 2 yrs old and 35 lbs. He was very matted when he was found and was shaved down. He is a beautiful long hair dog. We did complete a DNA test on him and he is quite a mixture of several dogs, including american eskimo, cocker spaniel, poodle and several others. He gets along with the other dogs. He does like to explore his yard and would like a fenced yard. He does not mind cold weather. He would enjoy another mild-mannered pup like himself. He is more of a couch potato. He loves people and loves to sleep in the bedroom with you and curl up in his doggie bed. He does well on a leash and seems to be quite well house trained. He has moderate hip dysplasia and may have arthritis as he ages, but this is unknown. He "bunny hops" and may have lateral luxation on his knee caps but it does NOT stop him from running and playing!!

He did test positive for heart worms when he was rescued and we did treat him with the recommended series of shots and we usually find that the dogs test negative after 4-6 months, all of our dogs are on a monthly heart worm preventive and we do require that they continue on one for life.
