My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 

Asante was released by a commercial breeder. She is now ready for a life as a pet, however she is still learning what that means.  She grew up in a kennel where she never stepped foot into a house.  Thinks like the doorbell and the tv make her head tilt.  She is learning her manners in her foster home and will need an understanding family that will continue to help her grow.  She loves people, she isn't sure of other dogs but is friendly with them as long as they are nice to her.  She is curious and will blossom into an amazing family member given structure and time. 

Asante  is UTD on   vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed, given flea and tick prevention  and has been fixed. This  furbaby  is currently being fostered in Naperville, IL and would love to find a furever home! If you can't adopt, please consider a donation care made directly to the rescue via paypal or contact us at info@rescuewarriorscorp.org. We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 48 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.
