SKYE is as incredible as she is stunning! Her piercing blue eyes are absolutely captivating and touch the souls of everyone she meets. She is endlessly affectionate and always down for some serious snuggle time. She is wonderful with children and enjoys spending time with the grandkids when they come to visit. As phenomenal as she is with people, , she is equally amazing with other dogs. She gets along with all ages and sizes. She is thrilled to play with those who want to play, but will also walk away happily from pups who aren’t interested. When she is not playing with other dogs, you can often find her amusing herself with her toys or sunning herself in the yard. SKYE is the perfect combo of husky cleverness and boxer goofiness. She is full of character and her silly antics are sure to bring so much light into her new family’s life. She is a very agile and active girl who would make an excellent partner for an avid runner or hiker. She would also excel in training, either obedience or agility, given her intelligence and athletic abilities. She is all smiles on car rides and would be an ideal companion for any and all of life’s adventures. SKYE is potty trained and perfectly quiet and relaxed in her crate when her foster family is away from home. This special girl loves life, loves to learn and most of all loves to share her heart with all she meets. SKYE will definitely bring a lifetime of happy memories to her forever family!

SKYE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $340 adoption fee includes the cost of transport to Nashville after she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our Nashville, Knoxville and some New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com). We also use Pet Express Tupelo (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com/). For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
