Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Pasta and sister Cheese (see separate listing) come to us as owner surrenders. The are familiar with each other and may be adopted together or separately.
Pasta be affectionate on her terms. She will jump into your lap and fluff you for while and then will stretch out fully in your arms and gaze up at you with full adoration. She LOVES to be brushed/combed. Also, she loves soft objects to sleep on. If she finds a towel/shirt/blanket on the floor or out of place, she will claim it to sleep on. Pasta “created” a burrow in a closet and that became her “safety/sleep” zone. Dealing with food, she isn’t too picky, but don’t offend her by giving her diet food. Drinks a lot of water and gets upset if her water bowl is dry. Enjoys soft food as a treat.
She is a dominant cat, however she is not aggressive dominant. Pasta will guard 'her space' by raising her paw up to warn and will smack if the other cat doesn’t back down. However, she is tolerant of other cats if they leave her alone. Pasta will hold a grudge for quite a while if you take her to the vet and will voice her opinion loudly during car rides.
Pasta would probably be all right in a home with low key and non-dominant animals. Probably would not do well in an active house with other active and dominant cats or dogs. She would do well with an owner that is looking for a low maintenance companion cat that will offer love and attention at times and needs someone to dote on her. She is neutered and UTD on shots. Vet records available.
