Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bianca is simply darling! She's 3-4 years old, petite and sweet as sugar. She was one of 17 dogs confiscated from a dubious backyard breeder. She was kept caged in a barn for her first three years and was never bred.
Now in foster care, she LOVES indoor family living! Bianca is spayed, up to date on shots, heart worm negative, on preventatives, and microchipped.
Bianca is eager to please, a super-quick learner, and well behaved in the house, in the car, and on a leash. Because of her background, she is a little cautious with new people and strange dogs, but gets along beautifully with her canine foster sibling and quickly warms up to people who are kind to her. She loves racing around the fenced yard, patrolling for squirrels, going for walks or rides, then napping at the feet of her special humans. Since she is so eager to chase critters, a home with cats would probably be a bad idea. She will do fine with older children, but has not had contact with babies and toddlers.
Bianca's dream home would have a fenced yard, active humans (she'd love walking, jogging, or hiking), maybe an easygoing dog of similar size and temperament - or she'd be happy as a princess. She is being fostered in Western North Carolina.
