My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilbur (on left) is an old soul. He is a shy, timid cat that is not fond of strangers. He does not like hands coming straight at his face and over his head. He will be slow to bond with you, but once he does, he loves cuddling and will be the cat that knows your mood. Wilbur loves treats and won't even chew when he gets them. He loves the sound of the water running in the sink, but doesn't like to play in water. Wilbur has a very thick undercoat that needs regular brushing, possibly summer shaving. Wilbur is a gentleman at the veterinarian.

He does have a medical history of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis. In September 2018 and July 2019, his bladder hardened due to extreme stress and blocked his urethra, requiring catheterization. The only preventative is a calm, stress-free household.

Wilbur is part of a pair. The boys are 5 year old brothers who were found 4 years ago, stray and matted. They eat dry food and like to have lots of water dishes around the house. They love having access to windows, for outside watching and for access to sunbeams. They are perfect with high-sided litter boxes, and should have 2 available to them (one per cat). The boys come with a truck load of stuff (cat trees, scratchers, toys, food, Pretty Litter, carriers), which we will deliver. They will only be adopted as a pair!
