Sirius is back with us for his second stay. He was returned for urinating around the house. The adopters took him to a vet, found he did not have a UTI, but did not do any litter box changes, and surrendered him to the Humane Society. Sirius is an absolute sweetheart of a cat that would be a great companion. He is timid of dogs, but has lived with other cats. For a large house, we recommend that Sirius have at least one litter box per floor, in a place with no doors opening and closing and not near a washer/dryer or other appliances. For a single level apartment, he should do fine with one litter box in a quiet, private place. We also recommend using Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Attract Litter. He needs an experience person who will be patient with him and help him work through any litter box issues.
