Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lima is our 4 - 5 month old mix puppy. She weighs 25 lbs. now so we believe he will be a medium sized dog when grown.
Lima gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Lima is your girl. She loves to snuggle and just be with you but is active and loves to play.
Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! She coat is gorgeous. You won't find many like her walking around. The foster family is working on his potty training but she is doing exceptionally well.
If you are interested in giving Lima a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.
Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589
The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org
You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.
Lima's adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover her spaying, series of three puppy shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examinations.
Lima is fostered in Tennessee but all of our dogs are adopted to either the northeast or the mid-west. We use PETS, LLC to take the dogs to their new families in the northeast. There are weekly trips and the dogs are picked up every Saturday in VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, NY, VT.
We also have weekly trips to the Chicago area. The next scheduled pick up for the Chicago area is November 14, 2019.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
