My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET AUBREY!!
Aubrey is a sweet, curious, playful and affectionate young cat who is looking for his forever home. He is currently sharing his living space with another cat, Bashful, and they are a bonded pair. We are looking for a home that is willing to adopt them together. He is a little on the shy side, but that will change as he gets acclimated to living at the noisy, busy shelter. Let us introduce you!
He is neutered, combo (FIV and FeLV) tested, and vaccinated.
You can meet him at the shelter and can submit an application to adopt him at https://wacshelter.com/adopt-a-cat/
Shelter Hours: Mon, Tue, Fri 5:30p-7:30p and Sat 10:00a-2:00p

Does this cat get along with other cats? There is almost always an acclimation period when a new pet joins the household. We are happy to suggest a few ways to ease the transition.

Does this cat respond well to dogs? The more important question is how the dog responds to cats. Most cats will adjust to a dog, given time and patience. If the resident dog's response to cats is unknown, that should be determined prior to adding a cat to the household. We can offer a few suggestions.

Is this cat good with children? The better question is how the children have been taught to handle animals. A cat will respond negatively if he/she is not being handled properly. We can offer suggestions on how to teach children to interact with cats.

If you're interested in meeting any of our cats or dogs, stop in during our open hours. For location and hours, see our website at https://wacshelter.com
