This cat has a sense of humor. Seriously....she is so cool....!!!
Delightful gorgeous young cat who was bred way too early and gave birth in the animal shelter in late June. She was in horrible condition, and she and her entire litter were brought back to full health. Now she is INSANE fun, plump, sleek, savvy, mega-playful, loving, and intelligent!!! She and her son Handsome are very bonded, love to play at full speed for hours and hours. She loves cat trees, getting up on beds and high perches, but she also loves to play and chase objects on the floor. She was named Rory because she was a full sibling to her sister in the shelter who we named "Dory" from the movie Finding Dory, because her sister was the airhead. Rory is all we could come up with! She was a fantastic mom to the kittens, and has been in a very loving foster home for 4 months. We had an overabundance of black kitties all come up for adoption at once, so these two are the last ones left in their group but they are actually the most fun! Her son Handsome looks just like her, acts like her, and is almost her "mini me" shadow. She has gorgeous healthy medium-long fur and captivating eyes. She loves affection but is not super fond of being picked up. She will rest next to or partially on your body while you watch TV or nap. She and Handsome currently live in a foster home with 5 other cats. They are excellent with the litter box and have gotten along with all the other cats. Rory has been spayed and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and is current on all her vaccines. This pair needs a home with a lot of space to run free and play. They are put up each night in their own room (because otherwise they romp and play all night on your head....). This cat has SO MUCH energy it is unreal, although she does love to lounge as well. This will be like adopting two sibling kittens!!
Funniest thing about Rory: She talks a LOT! She wags her tail back and forth. But, she doesn't meow offensively or complain, she chatters and communicates with you! She sometimes meows at the end of a yawn. She yowls all the way down the hall bringing you a toy. She gets super excited when you get home and runs around like a chipmunk and talks. (so does Handsome her son!) THIS CAT!!!! She does need a diet soon, she has expanded considerably since she was near death in the shelter 6 months ago!
Rory is a gentle hearted easygoing cat. Come meet her!
