My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FANTASTIC KITTEN! Handsome is a 6 month old DSH male who was rescued with his siblings and his mom shortly after birth inside the animal shelter the last week in June. He and his mom have the best personalities of the entire group, but as is often the case, they have not had as much interest because we had so many black cats and kittens up for adoption at the same time. This kitten is hilarious. His nickname should be "Squeaky" because of his high-pitched squeaky meow. He loves bathroom sinks, insects, toys of ALL kinds.....he is learning to fetch! He likes to curl up inside one of the "cold lamps" inside his foster home and play with crickets. He and his mom have about 30 toys, but he likes scrunchees the best and has been caught opening the drawer in the bathroom and stealing them!!!! Handsome will be timid at first until he gets to know you, and then he is such a lovebug. He "self pets" by face rubbing and just like his Mom, he whips his tail back and forth when he is happy!! He is super playful, matched (and exceeded) only by his MOM!!! He is however the classic "Mama's Boy" and is very emotionally bound to her. They play pretty hard sometimes! He is so smart....he loves crumpled up shipping paper, cardboard boxes, cat trees. He has two hilarious white hairs on his chin that resemble "Plankton" from SpongeBob.....had them since birth! He and his mom learned to use the cat door going out onto the catio and would make great indoor/outdoor cats. He has been indoors only since birth except the and outside under supervision. As with all our cats for adoption, he has had all vaccines, has been neutered, and is test-negative for Feline Leukemia. He will be a lanky playful gentle kitten until he catches up with his body. He is like a "mini me" version of his Mom!
