Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isaiah is a 5 year old basset and lab mix. Don't let his age make you think he is old because he is super playful and spunky! He only weights around 35 to 40 pounds. His adoption fee is $300 which includes his neuter, microchip implant, fecal exam, and shots up to date. He is currently in foster learning basic training. His fosters say he is the sweetest boy who just wants to be loved. He’s been doing great on learning new commands, he can now lay, roll over and give paw. He does get along with some dogs, but a meet would be required. He is loving movie nights and just hanging out as part of a family. He is now just looking for his forever family.
Please note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.
As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.
When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
