To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our website at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.
This is a very cute puppy monster who is about a year old. This is one of the latest foster boys, Reku.I hope I have his name right when I am waiting for his vet paperwork to arrive.
He came to us because of a house fire and taking months to rebuild from that. He is a true miniature dachshund at 10 pounds and an English Cream wire.
Reku is not housetrained, a typical boy loud and a very active dachshund monster pup who plays all the time and barely listens to his people, etc. Whoever adopts him know mentally is is about 12 weeks old mentally. I am not seeing a lot of previous manners training with him so of course we are starting the process. He is crate trained and being socialized with our dogs to learn dog manners.
He is a very sweet puppy and loves people so he was socialized there.
Reku was just neutered and healing up form that and crate resting in a conehead for a few days.
He is good to go to a new home soon with another dog his size please he can play with and folks who can housebreak a darling puppy. NO cats and no kids under age 8 for those who do not read our website before asking questions. This breed is not good with small kids. We also require a fenced yard so this running, hunting breed can run off their energy so easier to train them.
Wires or English Creams are very rare to rescue so I highly doubt he will be here for very long.
