My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In late 2016, Lincoln was rescued by The Morongo Basin Humane Society in Joshua Tree, Ca after being found wandering in the desert with scars covering his body that showed signs of abuse. Lincoln was at the shelter for over a year before he was adopted by a man, but sadly was then returned a couple of months later when the man said he was moving and wouldn’t take Lincoln with him. After Lincoln returned his demeanor had changed and he seemed more fearful and stressed, which didn’t show well to the public looking to adopt. It was obvious Lincoln needed some help as he began to decline in the shelter environment. Lincoln is 100% ready for a Forever Home. He has been featured on The show “Dog Impossible” and Nightline as a dog who is a social, happy, and inherently good breed ambassador that has helped countless dogs to socialize.
Lincoln would do best in a home with another medium sized playful and respectful dog. He would also do great as a single companion dog. He’s looking for owners that are willing to continue his socialization and structure that The Zen Dog has provided.
He has full support with integrating into a home and free follow up Training with THE ZEN DOG.
