My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bayou is a "Pomsky". He is approximately 2 years old, 11 lbs. He is good with other dogs. Cats he is ok with, but does still try to play and chase them. He is fine with children. He is housebroken, UTD shots, neutered, heart worm negative and micro-chipped. Bayou was "dumped" on Paris Road between St. Bernard and Orleans Parishes in Louisiana. He chased his owners 1/2 mile while they drove away. A good Samaritan picked him up and brought to a rescue volunteer nearby. He is a very smart, playful, active little guy. He has beautiful marking with blue specks in his eyes. We took him to a major adoption/fundraising event. He did wonderful, with all the people, kids and other dogs. He is a cuddlier. He will make an excellent dog.

Animal Adoption Society is a non-profit animal rescue group. We operate strictly on the assistance of volunteers. We do not have a facility/shelter or set visiting hours to see the animals. All of the animals in our care are placed in foster homes of volunteers. If you are interested in an animal, please contact AAS to make a mutually convenient appointment.
