He is very sweet and gentle, loves to roam around the garden and smell the flowers, literally. He is inquisitive but cautious, and we have taught him not to chew on anything, so he is doing great.
He is 90% potty trained and will just need to be kept consistent on doing that, but he is a very clean boy.
He loves to snuggle and will be a total lap dog for sure, following his owner everywhere. He will be easy to train as he listens intently and watches you when you talk to him with his head cocked on one side.
Initially we thought that Jack would need a buddy or his sister to keep him company, but since he was neutered his needs have changed and we feel he needs his human more now than another dog. Although Jack loves other dogs he would only be a good match with the same size and energy level dog.
We will consider homes with children over 8 years old who have a fully fenced in yard without exception.
Puppies need to go to training classes to learn obedience and have someone home during the day to follow through on potty and obedience training.
All the dogs we place in new homes are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Requirements to adopt Jack
Someone home for some or all of the day.
Fenced in yard or safe yard
Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
