What’s better than one Aussie? TWO! Meet Sugar (female red merle) and Chewy (Male blue merle). This pair of one-year old bonded siblings are looking for their furever home!

Before ASF rescued them, they had spent their entire life in a kennel in someone’s backyard. Over the last three months, they have been making leaps of progress while in foster with social skills, manners, potty training and learning what love is. These pups are quiet, and do exceptionally well with other dogs, cats and absolutely love kids.

Chewy is protective over his sister, so if there is another animal in the home it may take some time for him to not grumble if they get too close to her. They’re great on- and off leash and have wonderful recall. Sugar loves to lay in the river water, while Chewy watches- then they run up and down the shoreline until they get tired and then plop their wiggle butts in the sun to relax.

Potty training has been great, however since they’re shy, if they feel any kind of fear, they will submissive tinkle, but even this has gotten a lot better since they’ve become more comfortable in their foster home. Completely UTD on all shots, heart guard, flea/tick, and neutered/spayed. Looking for someone with a big heart for these two.
