HISTORY:
Pennington came from an Arkansas shelter. He was positive for heartworm on arrival. This little guy’s breed is a complete mystery to us. Have fun making up your own mix of breeds! Pennington was previously adopted but had to be returned when his owner became ill.
ABOUT:
Pennington is quite the social butterfly. He loves meeting new people and is excited when guests and visitors come over. If they sit down he will quickly hop on their lap to become better acquainted. Pennington is not crated when his foster family is not home and doesn’t get into any mischief. Pennington is very friendly when meeting dogs on leash and his foster mom will find him will snuggled up next to the resident dogs when there are no people to sit with; but at home he will sometimes guard people and things that he loves so he would do best with a tolerant, easy going dog, or even better as an only dog. He has previously been fostered with cats. He is always down for a walk but is mostly a low energy couch potato. Pennington’s foster mom says she practically has to drag him out of bed in the morning. His other hobbies include pretty much anything that his foster mom is doing. You lookin’ for a dog who thinks you make the world go ‘round? You found him right here.
