Zoey was surrendered on 10/29/19 by an owner whose heart was broken at having to give her up. Yet his health had declined until all he could do was care for himself, and he gave up his dog. Zoey is 6 months old and weighs 29.6 pounds. She was originally adopted from a shelter in Ohio where she was spayed on 8/2/19. Her shots have been kept up-to-date, and she appears to be a healthy and happy girl with a shiny coat. When she was adopted her name was Lacey and she was listed as a Catahoula mix. She appears to be more of a border collie mix, however. She has a good nature and loves to play, especially with squeaky toys or balls. She had a rabies shot on 10/18/19 which is good for one year. (Town and Country Vet Clinic) Zoey had her DHPP shots on 7/21/19, 8/28/19, 9/18/19, and 10/18/19. She was given a Comfortis on 10/18/19 and had a negative fecal that day as well. Zoey has been housetrained to the word "potty," has learned to go upstairs with the word "up," and to go inside her cage with the word "cage." They have been working with "down" to stop jumping up, but she needs more practice with that command. Zoey is used to eating a cup of Puppy Chow at 5:45 AM, at 11 to 11:30 AM, and at 4-5 PM and getting a treat about 6 AM and in late afternoon. What a good pup looking for a new home.
