My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Ace came to us after we received a phone call that he had been left in a mobile home, abandoned, and was so scared the people were not sure how to get him out. We immediately responded and found a petrified baby who did not know what had happened to him. Once we got him out, we discovered he had a leg injury too. We immediately took him to the vets, but realized this wide eyed handsome boy, warmed up quickly to those he felt he could trust.
At the vets office, he was in decent health, but he did have an old injury with the broken leg, and a pellet in him where he had been shot by a pellet gun at some point. We asked for a referral to the specialist and off we went.to see what needed to be done.
We are fortunate to have an awesome surgeon in a nearby area, and he was very hesitate, stating old injury, Ace was putting weight on the leg somewhat and he could not guarantee the outcome. He suggested we wait about a week and watch him to see if we observed pain, or issues. The pellet, was to be left alone as it was not causing any issues.
A week at his new fosters home and he has warmed up to her and her family great. Tail is wagging, kisses being given, he is such a sweet sweet boy. And he is jumping up on couches, moving around well and is doing great.
He is house trained, loves kids and is good with other animals. Whoever wants to be his forever family just needs to realize he may be cautious and a little scared for the first day or two, but after that, its all unconditional love!
