My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bourbon is approximately 6 years old, 35 lbs who was found as a stray 3.5 years ago and taken in by a loving family. He's been chipped and neutered and trained to be on a leash. He gets along with other dogs of different sizes. He does not like cats. He was a bit skittish when first rescued and is timid when meeting people at first, but warms up quickly. His current owners had a baby about 1.5 years ago and Bourbon started showing behavior issues towards their son. After trying very hard to get Bourbon to like their son, he's still not warmed up to him. This is why they are looking to rehome Bourbon. We're looking for a family that could have other dogs, but no cats and children must be at least 10 years old. Other than that, Bourbon has been a very low maintenance dog and he loves walks. He does guard his food from his siblings if they finish before him. He is not crate trained, but has had no issues being left alone for short periods of time. He's an affectionate, sweet dog and we think he'll make someone a very loving companion.
