My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Mr. Theodore, “Theo”. Theo is a big sturdy boy around 2 years old. He is a solid tan pit mix with a big beautiful blocky head. He is neutered, fully vetted, and heartworm negative and around 75 lbs

So on to his story. Theo was fortuitously found by his foster family in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area. They found him after sundown wondering a neighborhood street. He was exhausted, ridden with fleas, and covered in scrapes and cuts. But despite his condition, he was as friendly as could be. Once they got him inside their home and cleaned up, he seemed grateful. Getting all the fleas off took an intense bath and a lot of combing, but afterwards you could see in his eyes how much better he felt. He had been on the streets for some time, but his disposition was still sweet and gentle. His foster home has four other dogs, three cats, and three young children. After a short time, he has already befriended every creature under their roof. He is housebroken, has learned to walk on a leash, and has not displayed any undesirable traits. He is crate-trained, but he is already sleeping through the night on a dog bed out in the open. Theo is the total package, a stud with manners and a big heart.
