Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bingo is a 1-2 year old Merle with natural ears. He weighed in at 114lbs but it is all muscle. He is tall and still needs to fill out. His home will need to be ready for a large Dane. Although he is still a puppy and is still growing, he will most likely just fill out and not get too much taller. Bingo is house trained and has only had 1 accident since in foster care. He will need a little patience settling into his new home as all puppies do. He is NOT to be trusted free roaming in the home with no supervision. After all he is still a puppy and will get into puppy things. Bingo is crate trained. Bingo is a Velcro Dane and loves to be near his humans. He will lay at your feet and cuddle with you all day if you let him but will just as soon jump on your bed and stretch out. He is tall enough to counter surf and has shown puppy curiosity in the kitchen.
Bingo came into rescue with happy tail that was not healing after numerous vet visits and wraps. He had surgery to amputate his tail and is recovering from the surgery. Until he is given his clean bill of health he will not be available for adoption.
Bingo is learning how to play with his foster brothers and sister. He is currently fostered with a male Dane, a female Dane and a male Boxer. Bingo’s personality says he would do fine with only lots of humans but in a perfect world he would have a dog to show him how to be a dog. Although not a requirement it is strongly suggested. Bingo needs to learn to be a puppy and needs a confident dog to show him how to play nicely and the ropes of the home. He will need a fenced yard and plenty of exercise to work the puppy energy out of him. He rides well in a car and shown no sign of resource guarding. He is curious about what other dogs are doing so care should be given at feeding time to make sure the other dog has no issues. He is a leaner and will nudge for attention. He also knows some basic commands but will be adopted with a training addendum. Bingo will need patience, love, reassurance and a firm owner to develop into the Dane we know he wants to be. Bingo will NOT be adopted to a first time Dane owner. He is also in need of some leash work. He just doesn’t know how to walk on one. On a Martingale he is controllable. His foster will begin work on a gentle leader to see if that improves control.

Bingo is adapting pretty darn well to routine and structure. He still needs a family with giant breed experience and will not be adopted to a family without it. He will also be adopted with a training addendum but boy oh boy has he come a long way. He has gone from knocking food out of your hands while feeding to sitting and waiting for his name to be called prior to eating. He is very praise and treat motivated so will be a quick learner with repeated instruction. He is truly a Dane that will make someone very happy in the near future. Bingo loves car rides. He never makes a peep and just hops right in. He is all puppy but has such a sweet soul. Bingo had his surgery for his eyes and will have a recheck done at Christmas time. We are expecting him to have no prolonged issues except MAYBE eye drops for seasonal allergies. This is great news for our boy!!! He will remain on medical hold until after his recheck.

Guess who is off medical hold????
THIS GUY!!! We are very proud of him and how far he has come. His distichal surgery went off without a hitch and his recheck gave him a clean bill of health. So what is in Bingo’s future? Eye drops IF he needs them during months where allergies are at their highest. Right now his foster has discontinued all eye drops and there has been no drainage or issues. Awesome sauce!! Bingo continues to make improvements behaviorally and has proven to be very treat motivated to learn new things. He has almost mastered stay. This is a huge improvement as his foster makes him wait in a separate room seated while she is preparing his food. Impulse control has gotten soooooo much better with repeated instruction and praise for proper accomplishments. Bingo loves his people more than dogs so would be fine as an only dog. He does very well in his foster home sharing space with his fursister and brothers but is happier pressed up against his human. He is great with baths. His foster smears peanut butter on the shower wall and he will stay in there forever😊 He rides amazingly well and settles quickly. Not a peep out of him and just happy to be near his human. He never adjusted to the gentle leader but does very well now on a Martingale collar for walking. He still needs work on the leash but will not drag you down. Bingo is looking for his forever home. Are you it?
