Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Anita is an absolute sweetheart. She enjoys being petted, receiving ear scratches, and playing with toys. In the morning, she is often found snuggled in bed on her back with a big sleepy smile on her face. Anita is probably around two years old. She is house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She is working on learning how to walk on a leash, and basic commands. She is intelligent and receptive. The leash makes her a bit timid, but she has been making progress. She enjoys making her human happy and listens well. Anita would thrive in a home with a mellow male dog, or no dogs. She is fine with other females for short periods of time, but prefers to be the woman of the household.
Anita is spayed and up to date on shots and heart worm negative. She is microchipped and crate trained. We have no way to test our rescued Pyrs with livestock, so Anita will be placed as an indoor family pet only. Secure, visible fencing is almost always required to adopt from NorthStar.
An adoption application, site visit, and adoption fee are required to adopt Anita.
